A lot of people are sharing recommended reading lists. By all means, read the works of living authors. When you’re ready for something well aged, like a fine wine, or a triple-aged gouda if you prefer cheese, I recommend The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. One of my childhood favorites. It should be read aloud.
If you’ve been listening to news on TV or podcasts, it’s time to refresh your hearing by listening to the words of mole, badger, water rat or that ever mischievous Mr. Toad. Once I get going, the characters take over my voice. Each in their own distinct way.
